Benisha Hamal is a talented Nepali actress and model known for her work in movies and music videos. She was born in Chitwan District, Nepal and completed her primary level education at Golden Future Boarding English School, her School Leaving Certificate (SLC) at Arunodaya Higher Secondary School, and her +2 level at Shanti Academy, Bhatarpur. She later went to Kathmandu to study at Kantipur College of Business Management and Humanities and Goldengate International College, where she earned her BA and MA respectively.
She began her career as an RJ at Kalika FM, Bharatpur before becoming a VJ at various Nepali TV channels, including Channel Nepal, NTV Plus and NTV. In 2009, she started her modelling career and appeared in numerous TV commercials, as well as music videos and debut in Swor movie as an actress.
In addition to her previous education and career experience, Hamal also traveled to Mumbai in 2020 to specialize in writing and direction at FX College. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, she was unable to continue her course. Despite this setback, Hamal did not let it discourage her and instead took the opportunity to shoot a short film in Nepal as a writer and director.
