Ramlal Khadka is a self-taught Nepali Filmmaker, working as a Production Manager/Art Director. He was born in Mugu, Karnali, Nepal and these days he lives in Kathmandu.  He began his career as a Production Assistant on the Nepali feature film ‘The Black Hen-2015’ that has been awarded with FEDEORA Best Film at Venice Film Festival. Then he worked on multiple TV series, commercial and Independent films. Most noticeable; Production Manager on the short film ‘A Curious Girl - 2017’ that awarded with Best Short Film at Berlinale Generation section, Production Designer on the short film ‘A Scarecrow - 2019’; awarded with UNICEF Iris Award at UNICEF Innocent Film Festival, Art Director on the short film ‘Yet Another Winter - 2020’; awarded with Best Short Film at Kathmandu International Film Festival and Production Designer on the short film ‘Wheels on the Bus-2021’; world premiered at Berlinale Generation Section. Currently he is working as a Production Designer on the Nepali feature film ‘Black and White Photo’.
